Too bad we are working...

There will be a rally held in Victoria BC on May 15th 1:00-2:00PM.

"This is to announce that BC Lymies will be holding a rally at the BC Legislature in Victoria on Thursday May 15th. We will be joined by CanLyme president Jim Wilson, Dr. Ernie Murakami, South Saanich MLA David Cubberly, and possibly one or more of the McQuhae family.

All Lymies are invited, particularly from BC. The press will be in attendance.

The three active BC support groups have shown strong support for this event and are working together to ensure its success. We are at a critical point in bringing about significant change in BC, and this event will show our government that, like Lyme, we are not going away.

All we need is for you to send your email address and phone # to vancouverlyme@yahoo.ca Please invite others.

- We will organize a carpool and can travel together on the ferry
- Those who have to travel far can be billeted at others' homes
- We will provide stylish wristbands
- We will probably even have some fun!

We have to keep the pressure on.

Hopefully this will bring awareness out of this ill-fated disease. I have written to the media and will do some more e-mails this week. One bite can destroy... many lives. Until it happens to you- noone can fully ever understand.
