4X4

we needed one to get to this hidden beach- we rented a cool jeep! it was so worth the bumpy ride- Bravo to Hubby- most beautiful beach ever- was my fave :)a car would never have made it. We swam- and read and relaxed- the afternoon away. the sand so white- water so clear- we laughed as we looked at our feet, and the warm breeze was just right.

First Night~in Kona

We left the airport and decided before hand to rent a jeep- we went to the cheapest place online :) and di it from home! yay- because some hidden beaches- wont allow you to go to them with out a 4x4! yay! it was fun! I drove it one night :)
We thought- k we need a kona shake- off to the nearest coffee shop! yum!!! Then we arrived at our Condo- it was soooo nice! so glad it was exactly as we thought! In a older apartment building- yet nice inside- fun to see people living day to day there!
One thing- we didnt like- it was across the street- :( oh well- we didnt have much choices- FLIP KEY. com for rentals or VRBO- we used them for NYC and Hawaii!

Anyway- we found this great little pizza place- bring your own drinks! nice! so Hubby went to ABC and got us some bevy's- then we ordered Macadamia nut pizza!!!! OH MY WORD! Amazing!!!!!!!! it was slurp! delicious- we had some for a midnight snack :)

Hawaiian Vacation :)

Back from a wonderful 11 days in paradise! when u first start out- it goes slow- then flies! We have always loved Hawaii- so we were eager to return! were there in 2009. We left for Kona ( the Big Island) - on Alaska airlines- as soon as you walk on the plane- Hawaiian music is playing :) love it! almost time to depart! my happy suprise was- the window seat was all mine! the person didnt show! yahoo! so it was empty seat,me, and Hubby- hello space! they give nice nuts- and complimentary mai tai's near arrival- they are trader vic brand- and so yummy!!!
As soon as the captain says: we are nearing the Hawaiian Islands- thats when u really get excited- then he said: its 81 degrees today- yay!
Its beautiful once your eyes see the islands- and the airport is great! You just walk right outside :)

Oh how I miss thee! a few months ago- there was a big storm there! Yikes!!! Love the Yellow!

Thanksgiving 2011 :)

My Sister hosted this year- and as usual we had fun taking pics! She got a feather put in her hair- the lastest trend! Looks sweet!

This year- has been a interesting year for our family- sometimes you wonder whats around the corner- for us- its been a tad stressful- I usually dont post- about this kind of thing- but I thought I would do something a bit different----- We had planned to move to London- possibly for 3 years!!! wow- yes Hubby's job- he had applied for among many others--- in the end - we remained here- knowing the possibilty- we prepared ourselves for this in the end. It was fun hoping- wishing-- selling our cars- put micro chips in our cats for entry into the UK. I would of loved to move away---- sometimes the routine- can be too much- I have always been one for travel- so I was all ready! Anyway everything for a reason.... just thought I would share :)
