~ Family Christmas Dinner 2008~

Dec 27th, 2008 at my Bro * Sis inlaw's place :) We had our dinner- Mac * Cheese( I brought) Naan * Butter Chicken - my Sis brought * a delicious Greek salad that my Mom made yummy!!!!!!

The girls are soooo adorable :) Growing very fast! Too much I must say :)

It was a fun filled night- then we went home to pack for Baker.... Had to get up early at 6am!!!

Christmas 2008!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!!! Just had leftovers :) Veggies, Ham, mashed Potats! which my Mil loved- I added sour cream * butter, mild, salt p * parsely to them- turned out so creamy * yummy :)

Today we had to exchange some stuff with the boys - all and all it was a fab Christmas!!!! Hubby put funny stickers on the gifts: to honey from Jam. to wife from husband. lol!

we leave for Baker in 2!

Sweet Suprise!!!

As I worked long and hard all day... hubby did some more shopping. He called me all excited and said he found the best present ever! as if it was custom made for us he said. I was like tell me!!!!!!! he said well maybe later or for our anniversary! When I got home- he told me to close my eyes! wow!!! it is the coolest thing ever! This "8" card brooch. too cool!!!!!!! to represent out wedding of 8.8.08 :) Its beautiful!

And our silly cats playing around!!!! I was wrapping tonight and they were so nuts!!! Hubbys asleep Im just on the computer catching up * then off to sleepy bye!

Till our family winter~ getaway to Mt Baker!!! Our 1st fam holiday with the boys. Looking forward . We are going for 3 days staying in this cool lodge- outlet shopping? on the way back :)
Ahhhh a nice hot tub out back! I cant wait!!!!!

a few hours after I took the pic of Tommy- I got violently ill. Whats going on!!!!!!!??????? I called myhubby - i could not even drive home. I puked in the bathroom at work. And no folks Im not with child. I also have a monthly visitor that I want to shoot! But I felt like I was gonna faint, My dear hubby helped me into bed- I told him no a bath- he said no no lie down babe. He tucked me all in @ 2pm up to my chin.. very sweet and cozy. I rested. But it hit sooooooooo fast! Im better now- gonna take it easy. It was strange- I was hot cold, puky, very sweaty. gag!

Hard to Imagine!!! Hes 102 years old!!!

This sweet man at our work is one of the oldest there- hes a former boxer. He has no walker, hears great runs so fast- Makes his own lunch- he said : Im big on Salad. Tommy is the cutest. He always says to me: Hows my Sunshine doing today when he passes by. aw. I asked him what his secret was???? I dont drink water. HA HA HA.
He gets free coffee at the local Mcdonads & this year the IGA awarded him free groceries for life. :)

2 weeks

Im seriously thinkin- wow! Seems like people are in such a mad rush- Im trying not to be one of them. I dont want the magic or true meaning of Christmas to dash away :)

Latest Win....

2 weeks ago- I was on the phone with my sister * I get a phone call! I was one of 5 winners chosen for a day to Indulge! I entered it through a local magazine. Hubby was the one actually who showed me to go online * I did!

This past Saturday it happened. 5 gals * friends were driven for the day in a Suv Limo- It was amazing!!!!!!!! Being pampered. Wow! The limo was stocked of chocolate, wine, pop, water, chips, cookies. oh my!!!!

I brought my friend/coworker Di * she was pretty impressed.

Our first stop was manicure in White Rock * Aru Spa. so nice there!!! I chose a blue. They gave us coffee * tea- offered wine- but thats too early for me!!! we left with a gift bag and lotion * gc too :)

Next we headed to romancing the home. Very cute gift shop in Surrey :) I bought a nice wreath there. we got a 15% discount and starbucks coffee * cookies.

After that we went to lunch at East Side Marios in Langley. I had shrimp bow tie pasta. Then we took a pic with the manager. * he gave us all $25 gc!!!! Oh my hmmm nice to be doing nothing. The limo driver always helped us out too.

Then we headed to Belle Maison - another little gift shop. We looked around had a 25 % discount- and were given a cute star holder * candle. I got a cute snowflake butter knife.

Zipping along we went to Roxanns a hat shop in Fort Langley. No I did not buy a hat! I hate wearing them- only baseball :) we then went towards our final stop wine tasting! Unfortuantely we got lost * didnt make it- but all in all it was a perfect day!!!!!!! We all laughed * got along well.

Then at the stop off- we were given black boxes with bows- inside- wow!!!!!!!!! all this cute princess lotion, gloss, a water tin can, holder, sponge. They really went all out!

It was alot of fun!!!!!
