Newlywed Moments.

The boys are at friends 2 night.We unloaded till 1am. The boys love the new decorating! We are relaxing. Just ordered pizza. Just was chatting with Hubby- unknown fact- I am very ticklish! He found out. We laughed & he tickled. Quiet moments. Unpacking. Will finish tonight.
Sweet silence- us Newlywed & happiness all around :) Now I will go have a relaxing bath before the pizza & rest of organizing!

Thursday Aug 7th- day before the wedding!

So this day we went and had the best sandwiches! We got them the next day too- I ate half before the pics and the rest after. Hubby was like: You gotta eat babe! I was too nervous :( LOL
They were on a thick pumpernickel bread- with a walnut spread, avacado spread and goat cheese! My fave!!!!!!!
We then attended the Tom Jones concert that night at MGM! It was so cool! We sat beside a English couple and their kids- they were excited for us and hugged and kissed us . Awww. Um guess what I threw my Kiss the bride undies onstage! LOL I was the only one who did it! Too funny!!!!!!!!

We then had the best dinner at wolfgang puck! Always heard of the place but wow and good prices- my burger was like $16- NOT BAD - I loved the mini bottle- I brought it home - hee hee- we sat by a cool Irish couple for a bit- I loved the accents! :) Next post- the BIG day!

We are still in moving mode- so we have not had a chance to prep the wedding album- next week! Its been a bit overwhelming. Newlyweds- we need some down time! Soon!

We got up around 10- actually I slept a bit more :) The bf brought us starbucks. Then we went and caught the monorail- to the beg of the seedy strip! Oh my! It was 100 degress- and we thought hmmmm it wont be far to walk? 40 minutes! Yikes. So we got our marriage liscence- and then decided we were thirsty and starving! We found this cute cozy resturant- sat outside! I had the best lemonade with a kick! & 4 mini burgers. One had a pineapple, one guacamole, one bbq sauce, and one cheese. They were soooooooooo yummy!!!!! The man had some soft tacos and beer in a paper cup- HA HA!
So that was pretty much our day it was alot of business then we chilled. We gambled a bit- not that much over 4 days- only the bing bing machines. Lost and spent $100 if that. Was fun! Too smokey though. cough cough.

Oh actually now that I think of it- we also shopped at the coolest mall!!! My honey needed new sandals. So we both went off. I found a new fave store- Forever 21!!!! I got a necklace, a summer tube top, and another t-shirt. We stayed till the doors shut:) Then we decided we were still full- so just had munchies in our hotel.


oh dear!!!!!!!! my battery is depleted - so I will just post this one 4 today :) Here we are about 10 minutes before we fly up to say our vows :)))))))))))))

Part 1....... of many!

So here we go... sorry been away in Cali with the fam- then the comp wasnt working :(

We first got engaged in mid June. We decided a few days later that we wanted to Elope! Thought it was the coolest idea ever. No Stress of planning and wasting money on a wedding - we wanted something unique- and just the 2 of us! So we quickly booked the flight and hotel to Viva Las Vegas. The key was keeping it top secret- just the usual bla bla bla- made up stories eveyone expects. It was fun and yet July was a bit stressful! Running around getting all our stuff ready for the wedding.

That Aug 5th morning- we left at 6am- for the border. Of course starbucks first for our drinks. No problem! Also saw another bride carrying her dress on the flight. We actually saw them on 8.8.08- she was like congrats! Too funny. We flew on Allegiant air into Vegas- arrived around 12:20 pm. 110 degree weather! Death! But beautiful scenery. It really reminded me of Hawaii- I miss it that much! It was not as crazy as I thought. I saw alot of kids too! Very geared to them as well. I love it!!!!!!!!
So we head to the MGM grand. We found a sweet junior suite- with jacuzzi bath- I had one at least once a day Comon. We got it on craigs list. For only $149 a night. It was beautiful!

We has some nice chinese food for lunch- then just walked around the strip- looking at the sights. We did alot of walking. We got a bottle of wine & had some fish/ chips around 10. The day went sooooo fast and we were quite tired. We watched some tv later- and passed out around midnight. We had alot to do the next day- including getting our marriage licsence!

I now pronounce you husband and wife...... in the state of Nevada!

Hi all!!!!!!!! Heres some teaser- a few for now photos of our Elopment to Viva! No we didnt marry in a tacky chapel. We wanted 08.08.08- and got married a cool way- at night over the strip- in a helicopter! What a breathtaking experience! More details to follow.......... xoxo Mrs.

Summer time fun!!!

Heres some summer pics :) The recent of us- today in the convertible!
We have 2 weeks off!!! Heading to Portland early tommorrow by train for 5 days. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!
Then to Cali next Monday with the fam!

Also we went to East Side Marios on Sat! I had the pineapple/ham pizza- I added goat cheese! Yummer!
