"Fun Busy weekend"

What a whirlwind weekend! I am amazed its already Monday! lol!
Friday night Hubby & I walked to a local golf course about 20 min away. We went to a Wi.ne tasting event. No we didnt win any thing this time. The silent auction was fun- but no go. ha ha. Lots of food & local vendors. We were there a few hours. My feet were in pain city. note to self: no high heels- So hubby piggy backed me in the dark back. awww. what a sweetheart. We just chilled & watched Tv the rest of the eve.

Saturday we did errands, took our youngest for basketball camp tryouts- he then went to a sleepover at his buddys. Went for breakfast at a place called : Tonys resturant. It was ok. We have a hobby to find hole in the wall breakie places. Our fave in Hilltop in Aldergrove. In the afternoon, we took my hubby's Mom out for hi.gh tea. Yummy crumpets & jam and devonshire cream!!! In the Fort. It was soooo yummy!!!
Then we got a last min call from my sis & met her and her hubby at our Mexican Resturant!!!! Yummy!!!! Then we all decided to head to the casino. We won $175 dollars. So we did good. Played about 80? It was fun!!!!

I didnt cook at all on Sat! wow!!!!

Sunday eve we took the boys to the Titans basketball game. Was fun! We had nachos & enjoyed the fantastic game:)

Went home I made some spring rolls, and a shrimp sandwich 4 hubby * a few tropical martini's. We then fell asleep. And so begins another week!

Come and gone.

This year was a busy Easter!!! My MIL was away- our families all had diff sched. So we basically didnt do a big din din :(
I worked all weekend!!!!!!!
Saturday night we had my Bro- inlaw over and fiance. We discussed wedding stuff * set up our Shaw on demand- which we love!!!!!!!!
So I must go and find a dress for the May 30th event. Hubby has been asked to be the best man. Its at the "White Chapel" in Chilli then to the Chilli golf & country club. I will take lots of pics I promise!!! My Bro inlaw is way cool! Hes a hoot. They may get a live band!!!

Nights in Rodanthe!!!!

A must seeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! A chick flick. Was soooooo good!!!!!!! Tonight I watched this and loved every moment! It was priceless- loved loved the scenery! Boo decided to crawl up the last 30 min! Hubby was downstairs watching his tv show & I indulged with Boo & popcorn. lol!

Alas Hubby has tommorrow off!!!!!!!!!! Very excited we get to spend the day together and relax a bit. He says we are going to brunch in Van! yay

In other news. I need to really catch up on my sleep!!! Ive been done the last 2 days. My very very good friend is gravely ill- she may pass away this weekend. Super sad. Shes like a 2nd Mom to me. I have known her about 12 years. We used to work at Kidz Biz, since then we have been close. She has cancer and is having a 3rd operation tommorrow- and I went to see her in the hospital. Im tring not to think about it.. its tough. I am thankful though she knows how very happy I am & she met hubby the last time. Seeing her in the hospital she was her chatty but tired self the usual lovely Lady I know- reading her Bible and just saying she is so ready to go- but I dont want her to!!!! She followed the whole story & said: One day God will send you a good husband. She was always so full of advice etc. Sorry I am getting teary. Anyhow gotta keep busy not to think about things.

Cake was fun!!!! Swearing though it can totally ruin a really good movie. UGH!
