Hey everyone! I will be posted a whole lot of stuff from the last 6 months? I have been very busy- no time to Blog! In the fall I will post more -when I do- right away.

Vegas 2012!

JULY 4TH- Americans r so patriotic- and this day is no exception! its like NYE for them- we saw fireworks light up the sky -everywhere- didnt dare go near the strip- u would get totally trampled on- we decided to go to Fremont Street at night to check it out- First we had a lovely brunch- at this little Italian Place- had scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit- and Hubby ordered us Mimosas! living in style folks :) we then said yes to the mini eclairs--with fresh ice cream- and coffee-full!!!! and happy!!!

We headed back to the hotel for a break- off to old school fremont about 8pm. crazy and loud there- we had hot dogs, and drinks- for dinner- VERY old School- seriously some of the waitresses-there since 1959? we had a great time laughing- and playing some games too! we then shared a cheesecake -covered in crushed cookie stuff- caramel apple! its all about the food right? ha ha ha ha
Got in about 1am- took a cab back- had some wine- went to sleep at 2:45 am- and here we r now up early to get the car! then off to Tiffanys cafe- open 24 hrs- for some old school breakie! its also a drug store!! lol!!! then off to see the Pawn stars!!! :)

Very Random Post

Hi! i am waiting in the car-rental place at the airport- in Las Vegas! its 107 degrees here! its warm and hot hot! i would rather be in this heat- than rain or snow any day! hubby doesnt like te heat so much-unless he can jump in the Ocean! lol- I can stand it- plus- its pretty to see a blue sky rather than dreary one- it really makes ones mood that much better- i always thought i would do well living in Cali-year round - hahahahaha!

We decided to rent a car- $11 a day at airport- until Monday! the walking - is very decieving-will tell anyone coming here- u think that u can see a place on the strip- but its about 20-30 min to reach! ahhh
 Monday we arrived nicely- at 12:30 pm- took a cab to our las vegas hilton hotel! Its a nice room-king size bed- basically a good nice room :)
We then decided to go on the monorail- $14 a person for a 72 hr unlimited pass- well worth it- stopped in at walgreens- got some drinks- the heat- just about makes u faint- like a heat wave! had a sip of my tiny baby bottle of merlot- and i was needing water- soon! lol- its great walking around exploring- the landmarks :)

We found in the mall- at Lobster Me-Lobster Mac and Cheese!!! hello! best ever!!!! we shared that and a lobstericle-was deep fried on a stick! Slurp!!! then we went to Walgreens on the way back- and stocked up on drinks and snacks----had Pizza Hut for dinner- brought up to our room- sleep at Midnite


On Tuesday we slept until about 11am- after all the walking- sore legs- and now poor Hubbers- needed new shoes! We found some at Ross dress for less!!! :))) we then went and played some slot machines- won maybe $20> u cant WIN in Vegas- until u gamble BIG! lol- for dinner we went to Strip Burger- yummy@ had a delcious garden salad- with gucamole dressing- and we shared guacamole and nachos! it was nice the sprays they have set up-spray all over your face- very misty -like :) signed up to see Jay Leno on Sat at 10 pm at the Mirage! we r looking forward to seeing him!!!

A small interruption---- my sweet great niece -Autumn- age: 6 months :) Her Mom rocks- shes such a great photographer!

Our next adventure was a long winding road- to the MOST southernest point in the USA! thats right folks- we drove right down to the tip of the ocean :) so we now we can say we have been to the most s point- was breath taking:)))))))))

One day Hubby and I drove up to the valley-from hot- to cloudy- but sooooo pretty! i always dreamed of macadamia nut ice cream! we found some! best ever than anything I have ever tasted!! Its so laid back on the Islands- everyone is so warm and friendly :)

when we arrived back from the beach that day-we had this gorgeous basket at our door!!! lovely fruits-coffee-and avacados the size of your head ( My Mom wasnt kidding! she had some dailey in Maui) what a great treat- it was from a local company- i used the avacado in our salad-with our lobster pasta one night :) alas another day in Paradise- one can never tire from it!
